Hi Everyone, While volunteering I suggested they do a bake sale to make more money for the company. So they organised making money at a fete, Having wake up early in the morning to make some cakes for a fete I helped create. We made some great flavoured cakes that were a great success, the flavours were Vanilla Iced Fancies, Almond Iced Fancies, Jamaican Banana Bread & Barbadian Sweet Bread. All proving to be a great success at the Fete. In total we made a grand £27.80 & sold out of Vanilla Iced Fancies (which was a shame for me as I didn't get one). It was a great afternoon, best of all I learned new skills & a new experience & I'm looking forward to doing it again. By Shereen Harrison Third place winner Sabrina Harrison made a sporty & tasty, soft vanilla cake with Jam filling, not too sweet & not too sour, just right. Covered with icing forming the shape of a sports bag. Along with models of the olympic torch, olympic shoes & last but not least olympic rings Symbolizing our beloved town (London) that is hosting the olympics this year. Whilst entering the cake Sabrina was hopeful, but was suprised & Very ecstatic. Sabrina couldn't be more proud to have placed third.
